I got a pair of these for Christmas. Initially, I was skeptical about the quality of an inexpensive roof-prism optic, and this isn't my favorite brand name either. But contrary to my expectations, I've been extremely impressed with them so far.

Good brightness, contrast, sharpness, field of view, and close focus all exceeded my expectations for a binocular at this price point. Feel, fit and finish are all very good.

I wear eyeglasses, and these binoculars still deliver a nice wide view through the eyepiece. The twist-down eyecups are quick to extend / retract if you are sharing these with someone who doesn't wear glasses.

They come with a decent carry case, and relative to porro-prism types, the weight and compactness are both a little bit better.

If you are looking for a good binocular for birding or general use, I highly recommend you take a look through these in addition to the other popular models. I think for a less serious amateur user, these hit a sweet spot for price / size & weight / performance, and I'm very happy with them.

One of the neck strap attachment points broke after maybe 6 months of use. It wasn't abused at all, it just didn't stand up to my relatively light use. When it broke, the little plastic bits fell into the grass, never to be seen again. This is too bad, because I don't see a way of repairing it easily without those parts. Upon closer inspection, the plastic retention ring on the other side had also cracked, but hadn't quite fallen apart.

Minus a point for the construction quality of the strap mounting.

If you get these, I recommend detaching the neck strap each time you put them away, and just be gentle with the strap in general.

- Even with my heavy camera (and battery of course), the case floated to the surface!!

Cons:
- Using the flash will not work, it diffuses into the plastic and washes out the picture.
- As instructed, have to be carefully about leaving the case on printed material (newspapers, laser prints, etc). It has not happened to my case, but I have seen the same plastic material actually pull the ink off the prints. Once its in the plastic, it won't come out.

I have received the case and already tested it in my pool, taking it down to the bottom. As instructed, I used the cardboard insert to test it first. The pictures were clear. I did not experience a fog or condensation inside the case. I am going to take it snorkeling with me next month. But I plan on using it for beach trips as well.

We had been looking at underwater housing for our Nikon D80, but decide to go the less expensive route. You are able to take pictures and shoot video all while underwater with this device. We experienced no problems, and have fantastic underwater pictures. I would recommend that you read the instructions prior to use and follow them completely, people who have stated they do not like this product, in my opinion, did not follow the directions. One other thing, when you are finished using it, and if you use it in salt water, I would rinse/soak the entire housing device, (with the camera still inside)in a sink of cold water to remove the salt for about 10 mins. Once that has completed, remove the camera and case from sink and let dry, then open case to remove camera. Enjoy!

I've had this camera a couple weeks and I finally got outside to take some pictures. Overall, for the price of the camera it takes OK pictures. If I wanted great quality pictures I would have bought a more expensive waterproof camera. I did however, buy this camera because it is waterproof. I did not buy it for the intent of snorkling but it will be exposed at some point to rapids, snow, and rain. After these entounters and no problems I will gladly raise this review to a five.

Camera is very easy to use. Takes nice pictures although on some pictures it looks a little blury in the background. When the shutter is pressed I experienced no delay even indoors. It was very easy to download pics to computer.

Overall, I would recommend this camera to anyone that wants a nice easy to use waterproof camera and is not to fussy about perfect pictures everytime. Camera is a good value at 9 w/free shipping. I'll update as I use this under different conditions.

It is one of the most important elements to capture images. It can either make or break a photo. Entire books could be, and have been written about the subject. As an introduction to the composition, this article aims at an overview of the main points on how to create and enhance photos to give your photography.

What is your motive?

The most important part of the composition with a clearly defined theme. Decide what to sharpen the picture and on that. It can be a single personin a crowd or an abandoned house sits in a rustic landscape. Whatever you decide to make the subject of your photo, decide how to emphasize and go from there. Choose whether other elements in an image to say about the weather, it will be something on your person or not used. While this cover did keep our digital camera dry (thank goodness), it seemed a little awkward pressing the button to take the pictures, turn on or off the flash, etc. ~ the camera also didn't stay straight or centered in the pouch and I had to strategically position the camera's wrist cord to keep it from getting in front of the camera lens! All in all, a great concept and we were happier with this than disposable underwater cameras, but it was not as easy to use as I had hoped...

Photographing family events, outings with friends, or even when you are away on a cruise is one way they keep their memories preserved. All you do it your way, under the creative control.

Consider equilibrium in the scene. Asymmetric scenes are artful and easy on the eyes than Symmetrical. Make sure that there are no odd shapes behind peoples heads. So, when I got home, I wanted to look for something a bit more rugged, and [...]

I figured I'd wait until Labor Day sales, but when I found this advertised in an Amazon email, and after reading the review at [...]I went for it.

The Pentax was [...] over my budget. So I bought it in gray. It's totally worth it.
It's easy to learn, fairly straightforward, and takes nice pictures.
I even got to use the old Nikon's measly 1 gig SD card.

I said it takes nice pictures. If you want great pictures, save your money for an SLR.

I am very satisfied with my purchase, which, by the way, got here in two days.

Love this camera! The size is handy, and the features are awesome. Took some underwater pix that turned out great. I have made some mistakes in selecting settings but am learning. Do wish the display was easier to see in bright light. Overall it's an extremely good value.

The Best Waterproof Digital Camera Anywhere

Are you looking to take some great underwater shark pictures will receive in your search National Geographics next great photographer? Or maybe you just want a camera that you do not take care around the boat, beach or pool. While you can add an additional add-on waterproof housing for some existing camera, they can be expensive, bulky and cumbersome to pack and to use too. Why should not a camera, which already without the extra money for watertightAccessories.

There are different models there, but my preferred choice would have the Olympus Stylus 790SW waterproof, shockproof, dust-proof and frost proof. The 790SW is the successor to the 770 SW, which is still available, but a little harder to find. The biggest difference between the two cameras is that the older 770SW be used in up to go 33 meters of water can whereas the newer 790SW is only up to 10 meters of water are. Olympus apparently decided thatdemographic for the 790SW were not great divers. Probably makes sense.

The other nice thing about the 790SW is It's All Around durability. This was outside one of the toughest cameras. Drop of 5 feet or less no impact on sensitive internal processes has. Why more cameras are not built that way, I have no idea. Not only can you do, you will be taking pictures of the water, you can go there in the snow with no worries either. Temperatures up to 14Do not damage degrees Fahrenheit or -10 degrees Celsius, the camera. I'm more of a fan myself warm weather.

Friends of ours recently used their 790SW in one of these indoor water parks. They shot a video during the races through one of those big blue tube from the beginning to the last flood on the bottom. It's a pretty trippy clip as the light passes through the semi-transparent tube and the driver's bad luck to and fro. Definitely a fun camera. Some slight sacrificeare in the picture quality completely outweigh the fun factor in these circumstances.
